InclusionApp

Project number: 2020-1-PL01-KA204-082190

Project InclusionApp aims to promote equity and inclusion by facilitating access to cultural and linguistic education to people with disadvantaged backgrounds.

This initiative gathers five partners from Poland, Cyprus, Italy, the UK and Greece, who will achieve two outputs of the project:

  • A serious game mobile phone app to help RI&AS (Refugees, migrants and asylum seekers) acquire language skills and cultural experience

  • a collaborative e-learning platform

The mobile game will be an entertaining way of exploring regional cultural locations while challenging the learner to solve language learning tasks. By solving language learning tasks, the user will travel from one destination to the next on their map, unlocking more and more locations. If a language learning task is too difficult, the user will choose to solve more manageable tasks relevant to their skill level. The tool will be a fun and challenging game-based approach to exploring language learning with the additional benefit of learning cultural aspects about the user's home region.

The E-learning platform will include an online database of good practices concerning combating social exclusion. It will identify and promote methods, techniques, projects, and policies that help refugees integrate into the new home while providing access to online content and services and an active voice on social inclusion and cultural dıversity. The platform will be user-friendly and support a chat room, where the registered members can communicate with each other in pairs, groups or a common forum. The platform will be available in 10 languages (Polish, English, French, Portuguese, Greek, Turkish, Arabic, Eritrean, Farsi/Dari, Kurmanji)

Project Inclusion App will conclude in 2022.
